Step 1: Count Remaining Days in Start Month

Remaining days in March after March 3:

Step 2: Add Full Months Between

Full months between March and August:

• April = 30 days
• May = 31 days
• June = 30 days
• July = 31 days

Total full-month days:

• 30 + 31 + 30 + 31 = 122 days

Step 3: Add Days in Final Month

From August 1 to August 5:

= 5 days

Step 4: Add Everything

• 28 (March)
• 122 (April to July)
• 5 (August)

= 155 days

So, there are 155 days between March 3 and August 5, 2026 (exclusive of the start date).

If you include March 3 in the calculation:

155 + 1 = 156 days (inclusive of the start date).
