How to Calculate Age Manually

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Subtract the birth year

Start by subtracting your birth year from the current year.

Example:

  • Birth Date: September 15, 1993
  • Today's Date: February 20, 2026

2026 - 1993 = 33 years

But this is not the final answer yet.

Step 2: Check if the birthday has passed this year

Since February comes before September, the birthday has not happened yet in 2026.

So subtract 1 year:

33 - 1 = 32 years

Step 3: Find remaining months and days

Now, calculate the difference between:

  • September 15, 2025
  • February 20, 2026

From September 15, 2025 to February 15, 2026 = 5 months

From February 15 to February 20 = 5 days

Final Age: 32 years, 5 months, 5 days
